Please help the family Jerrold Helton

My name is Robin, and I am a friend and neighbor of Amy's. Jerrold was in a tragic accident, and the details are below in Amy's words. I am looking to help raise money for medical expenses now, and Jerrold's future medical needs as this is going to be a long road for them.
This is a post regarding the urgent prayer request we put in on Saturday. Jerrold suffered a traumatic spinal cord injury on Friday night during a camp out with the boys. He has broken his back and is paralyzed from the neck down. He has undergone one surgery and will hopefully stabilize enough to be transported to the Shepherd Center in Atlanta.
Our Immediate need is for prayer and peace while we try to navigate the next few months. We expect quite a long road but have complete faith in God.
With traveling back-and-forth to the Floyd medical center in Rome Georgia and the waiting, it is difficult for me to answer questions and texts however your thoughts and prayers mean so much I apologize in advance if I don’t get back to you I will post as I can with updates.
update #2
Jerrold is heavily sedated right now but he does open his eyes. Having the ventilator he cannot speak of course but he is able to slightly nod or shake his head. The ventilator breathing for him means that he can be administered pain medication to reduce his agony.
They began administering him 20 mL of sustenance through his OG/feeding tube last night. They are hopeful that this will just begin to wake up his digestive system. His organs are reacting normal or above average which is a blessing. Respiratory was just in, and they cleaned out his airway and throat from the mucus. Respiratory, neurology, trauma surgeons, and pulmonary assembled a large team to consult on his case. They are going to reevaluate him today to determine when to perform the tracheotomy. I’m waiting to speak to the pulmonary doctors and meet the nurse for the day. I love y’all and I will post again soon.
