Please help The Godfrey Family

My name is Leanne Maupin, I have known Brittany Edwards Godfrey since she was a tiny baby. Her parents (Danny and Margaret Edwards) have been my dearest friends for over 40 yrs.

I’m reaching out to you to help this sweet family! Brittany’s husband Billy (Godfrey) was diagnosed with COVID-19 earlier this month. But first, let me tell you a little about this family.

Billy and Brittany share Mason 2, and his step children Addison (Addie) 10 and Jaxson 8. They have strong Christian and family values! Billy is 37, a Navy Veteran, motorcycle enthusiast, a huge cut up and loves making people laugh, always joking around, gaming, any type of computer technology and Sy-Fy movies!

Since Billy was diagnosed with Covid, he has since been admitted to JCMC-ICU. On Wednesday Nov 8th at 3:00am, Brittany received a call from the hospital, the Dr. wanting to put him on a ventilator. He was having an bad night, as he was having an extremely hard time breathing. On Thursday they found his blood wasn’t as oxygenated as they had hoped for an they were hooking him up to EMCO, this will give him the best fighting chance to oxygenate while also allowing the rest of his body to heal. His lungs are extremely damaged and it could be weeks or months that he will be in the hospital.

The family is so appreciative of the many prayers during Billy’s brave fight to survive while battling Covid. Billy’s family is now in need of your financial support for ongoing expenses.

Billys condition is very critical. It’s unknown, how long Billy will be in the hospital.
