On April 3rd, 2024, we were devastated by the sudden passing of our dear friend, Mathew Lubiniecki. Mat was only 38 years old. His untimely departure has left an emptiness in our hearts that can never be filled.

Mat leaves behind his loving spouse, Jaeme, and their two precious daughters, Brooklyn and Camilla. Mat adored his family & worked hard to provide them with the best life possible. The love he brought to their lives will be forever missed.

As a City of Regina Firefighter, Mat had an unwavering commitment to his community. Mat put the needs of others ahead of his own to help ensure the safety of their homes, families, and futures. Now, it's our turn to stand by him & show his family the love & support they need during this devasting time!
