Please Help The McLaughlin Family

While celebrating the 4th of July with family Chuck experienced a terrible accident. While enjoying fireworks a piece of steel broke off a cannon and went through Chucks leg. His femur was broken and his femoral artery was cut. Chuck nearly lost his life. It was by fate that within the group next to his family was an ER doctor and a nurse practitioner. The two quickly went to work while waiting for EMT service and saved not only Chucks leg, but ultimately his LIFE!
Chuck is currently in the ICU at Strong Medical Center, though he is stable after an arterial surgery there is a long long road ahead. There are two more surgeries planned for this week alone, and months of physical therapy ahead.
The McLaughlin family are amazing people. They are active their community, and school system. They are honest hard working people. They are the type of people who make life long friendships and would without a thought give someone the shirt of their backs. Chuck is the sole provider for his family during the summer months and this accident puts his family at risk for losing everything. I am asking for all who know Chuck and Aimee to help with what they can. We all know that in a time of need every little bit helps. I would like to thank you for taking the time to read their story and for anything you can spare.
