Please Help The Or Family Rebuild Their Lives

On October 7th, my cousin Dror, his wife Yonat, their children Alma and Noam and my cousin Dana’s son Liam were all kidnapped to Gaza from kibbutz Be’eri. Last week we found out that Yonat was murdered and her funeral was held on October 29th. They have one son, Yahli, who was not with them during the attack, he is in shock and losing hope as everyday passes. Jon and I are doing everything we can to support our family in Israel during these very dark days. We are donating all of our resources directly to the Or family, but wanted to create this GFM for our friends and family in the states to be able to have the strongest impact with their donations going directly to our family. This money will be used for temporary housing, food and clothing for the displaced members of the family whose houses and lives were destroyed in the attacks. They have nothing left. And to support the road ahead for when the four kidnapped come home.

About the hostages: my cousin Dror is an artisanal cheese maker. His wife Yonat was a furniture designer - may her memory be a blessing. Their 16 year old son Noam and 13 year old daughter Alma are incredible, thoughtful, sweet and innocent kids. And Liam is a wonderfully smart, joyful, and kind 18 year old. They are secular Jews. They all have Palestinian friends and are pro-peace. They were in their safe room on October 7th when their house was burned down and they were forced out and taken hostage to Gaza. We don’t know if they are together or if they were separated. It is unbearable.
