Please help the Saputo family.

If you’re from Indian River County, chances are you know the Saputo family. They have touched so many over the years with their kindness and generosity. It brings me to tears to report that Jeff Saputo was in a terrible rear-end accident on 408 in Orlando Friday. He was extricated from the vehicle. Please see the photos. He has been in the hospital and will be until surgery, hopefully Monday. So far, we know he has a neck fracture and a brain bleed.

This is devastating as he is the pillar of his family and our community. The family is in need to help cover the costs of the mounting medical bills as they await more tests and answers.

7/15/24-Update from Laura Saputo- Jeff has developed blood clots from the multiple traumas in his body. An IVC filter will be inserted before surgery to filter out the clots. With the brain bleed they are avoiding blood thinners so they are hoping the IVC filter will help and they can proceed with neck surgery now scheduled for Tuesday, July 15th.

Thank you for all the kindness and support! The Saputo family is beyond grateful for the generosity shown to them during this very difficult time. I will continue to update as I receive them from Laura.
