Security Officer burned in Midtown Atl Fire

Hi, My name is Tange Harris, my husband Michael Harris was the security guard trying to help the lady that set herself on Fire on Friday, December 1, 2023. The incident occurred just outside of the Israeli Consulate Building. On December 1 he received a message that a woman outside of his building was about to set herself on fire He went outside to try to talk her out of doing it. As he approached the woman she set herself on fire and he unfortunately got caught up in the flames. My husband became fully engulfed in fire and proceeded to roll on the ground to put himself out. EMS had to cut him out of his clothing. He is currently at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta where he has suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns. He has a long road ahead of him and we are asking for help. My husband is an Army Vet and his instincts kicked in to try to save the woman's life. Thank God that my husband is still here.
