Help the Thomas Family Recover after Landslide

On Sunday, Nov. 14th, a massive landslide went through the Thomas family's property in Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia (BC). Large trees, boulders, and thick mud destroyed most of the property. Our dad was home at the time and was thankfully able to escape by foot. He was picked up by a search and rescue boat a few hours later. 

 

Since landslides are not covered by standard homeowner's insurance, our family faces a significant financial burden. Insurance will not cover the cost of clearing the debris or home repairs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our wonderful and loving parents, Mervyn and Sabena, moved to BC only one year ago hoping for a more peaceful life closer to nature. They have worked incredibly hard for many years to live here. Before the landslide, they had been slowly restoring the property to make it their forever home.

 

We would like to help take care of our parent's financial burden and alleviate their significant stress. Our parents are such kind and humble people who are always welcoming with open arms to every person they encounter. Thank you so much for supporting our family.
