Please help The Wonderful Truglio Family
Donation protected
Hello everyone, Please take a moment to read our friend Estrella’s story below. She is a wonderful, strong, loving mother and wife. She is such a dedicated hard worker and a great friend.
She and her family have just been through a traumatic experience and she is juggling a lot right now. In times like this it’s so beautiful when a community can come together. Please help if you can. Any donation helps Estrella continue to take care of her family as they navigate these next few months. Her husband Antonio is slowly recovering from his heart attack, as they try to figure out his heart condition. Estrella is still working full time and now taking full time care of her two children and her husband. Thank you ✨
Estrella’s Story:
“On Sat Dec. 17, 2022 my husband Antonio and I woke up like any other regular early Saturday morning. I jumped in the shower at 7am and Antonio was making cafe on the stove. Shortly after as I was still in the shower I heard a enormously loud yell and then a huge thud followed by 3 very loud bangs. I shut the water off and heard silence. I continued to finish up and 30 seconds later I heard my 12 year old son screaming for me. I run out immediately to find my son holding his father as he was in convulsions. He runs to get the neighbors and my 13 year old daughter wakes up instantly to the tragedy and calls 911. My husband was admitted to the hospital immediately and after several tests they learned that he had a heart attack. He basically was standing upright making coffee at the stove and collapsed and fell to the ground. He 6’3 200 lbs. So he did significant damage from the fall. Because he fell he had trauma to the head which caused the seizure. He was unconscious and unresponsive for about 30 min. I thought I was going to lose him at any moment. We never knew he had any heart conditions. He was hospitalized for 6 days and still has many heart exams to do because they don’t have definitive answers at this point. Thank God for science and amazing drs. He was released with a life vest that has a difibulator so if this happens again it will jolt him and save his life. He has to wear this for the next 3 months 24 hours a day and can’t drive or work. This unfortunate and unexpected medical emergency has stricken our family to the core. Mostly affecting our children emotionally. We are very grateful everyday as we are taking this a gift. A gift for another chance at life. Many people don’t get a second chance. He is taking this opportunity to make a lifestyle change and hope to be here for our family many years to come. He’s only 42 years old and wants to see his young children continue to grow into beautiful people. “
