Please help the Uz Family get aid to Turkey

A local Solana Beach family has been catastrophically devastated by the loss of life in their family caused by the earthquakes in Turkey. They are raising money to get supplies to families, like theirs, in need in Arsuz. You may not know her, but you probably see Sinem Uz every single day before and after school wearing a bright yellow vest as a crossing guard for our children heading to Skyline at the Lomas Santa Fe and Solana Hills Drive intersection. After that job ends at 9am, she walks to Solana Vista to begin work in the cafeteria at 9:15am. Her daughter, Sara, is a 6th grader at Skyline and her son, Ali, is an 8th grader at Earl Warren.

Sinem and her family moved to Solana Beach from Turkey in 2009. Her husband, Orhan, is a private driver. They are raising money to help pay for basic items such as clothing, socks, shoes, blankets, etc. It's incredibly cold in this area now and she said the main goal is to try to keep people warm. The Uz's are an incredibly hard-working family and their family and friends in Turkey need support at this time.
