Please Help This Sweet Little Boy & His Family

This is my little cousin, Will. His family lives in Tampa, Florida. Will was born in 2017 with Down Syndrome. He is the sweetest boy you could ever meet. He loves music, loves to dance, and brightens any room that he enters.

William needs another open heart surgery. He had a complete AV Canal repair at 6 months old and we thought that would be his last heart surgery. Unfortunately, tissue has formed and is obstructing his blood flow, causing his heart to work too hard. Additionally, the tissue is wrapping around his heart and has attached to his mitral valve. The complexity of the surgery has made it necessary to seek medical care outside of Tampa. Through the amazing network of friends, family, and even complete strangers, him and his family have an appointment with Shands in Gainesville this week. They are hoping they will take Will’s case & quickly repair his heart so he can go back to being their strong, amazing little boy who makes their lives brighter every single day!
