Please help the Epona Trust build stabling and facilities

Hi, my name is Sue and I’m raising funds for the Epona Trust to rescue horses and to support our community to appreciate the joy of being with a horse or pony.

Our Goal:

To offer rescue to more horses in need in 2025, the Epona Trust needs to raise funds for additional stabling, including an isolation block.

We already have the planning permission for these improvements, which will also include a meeting / education room and accessible toilets (currently, we only have a portaloo on site).

These expanded, accessible facilities will allow us to welcome more community members of all backgrounds, abilities and ages to experience the huge joy and benefit of being with horses. Initially our goal is for £5000 as step 1 to our overall goal of £25000.

Who we are:

The Epona Trust is a non-profit making organisation dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating horses and ponies from challenging backgrounds. Based at Russells Equestrian Centre in West End, Southampton, we offer them a safe haven and the individualised care and attention they need to recover and thrive.

When appropriate, our horses provide comfort and support to vulnerable children, young people and adults through equine-assisted services. We believe in the power of the human-horse connection to foster growth, physical health and well-being.

Currently, the Epona Trust cares for 12 rescue horses and ponies. It is financed from our sponsorship scheme, donations and fundraising events which help towards day to day expenses.
