The ongoing horrific genocide in Gaza has not provided any safe haven for any Palestinian in the Gaza Strip, whatsoever.
Malak, who is 11 years old, and her family of 6 members, have been displaced several times over the past six months; they have been displaced exactly 7 times. Each time, they miraculously escaped death, so their situation is dire. After losing all their belongings and memories, they want to survive as a complete family without losing any family members or having any of them become disabled due to war injuries!
The need to leave Gaza is a matter of life or death. Now our lives are increasingly at risk day by day with the threat of the army entering the area we fled to
For Malak and her family, they had great blessings like 3 houses, 2 cars, and a company, but this war destroyed everything for them, from Malak toys to their most precious possession, the blessing of safety that was taken away from them. We are now trying to get them to safety in Egypt due to the unsuitable circumstances of a bad environment and a bad environment full of infectious diseases.
Especially since Malak and all her family members recently contracted hepatitis A and recovered from it relatively. We hope they don't lose the blessing of their health because Malak's father suffers from high blood viscosity and is at high risk of stroke, especially since their current diet consists of canned and harmful food. Malak's mother suffers from shortness of breath due to the lack of cooking gas, and food is cooked using leaves and wood, affecting the family due to the smoke from the fires that lasted with them for 5 months. The family's children have very weak immunity from the polluted environment filled with sewage water, insects, and infectious diseases
We are launching an urgent fundraising campaign to help Malak
and her family complete the necessary paperwork so they can cross the Rafah border; ensuring a safe passage to Egypt. To exit Gaza through the Rafah border, we now need to urgently secure the following funds:
1. $7000 USD ($9,608 CAD) per family member for Egyptian intermediaries. "67,256"
2. $3000 USD ($4,117 CAD) life-saving assistance to help them settle in Egypt.
3. $2000 USD ($3,030 CAD) for GoFundMe-related fees
Invitation to action ؛
1. Please donate whatever you can. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference.
2. Please share this campaign with everyone you know and encourage them to donate.
Let's do everything we can to save them. Time is of the essence to rescue this beautiful family trapped in the grip of genocide
About the family being safeguarded:
Before the onset of genocide, Malak elder brother, Belal Jasem AlSharif, tirelessly pursued his dream of becoming Gaza's top marketer. Despite the challenges posed by the blockade, he succeeded, buying an apartment and a car, and saving up money. However, all his efforts were shattered, and his savings depleted during the harsh six months without work, income, and stable utilities due to the war. His clients left him due to the prolonged conflict and the lack of electricity, internet, and stability in a specific location.
Belal is now burdened with the responsibility of providing for his family of seven and ensuring their safety. This task becomes increasingly difficult with time, as the attacks on Gaza persist and intensify.
Family Belal testimonies:
Malak (Belal younger sister, 11 years old) - "It breaks my heart to see her not enjoying her childhood, living in fear instead of studying with her friends. Malak, our youngest, is the lively one among us, who loves life, studying, and outings always. Sadly, I only see her now with a sad face, aging her beyond her years.
Belal Mother (50 years old) - "She's the backbone of our family, my best friend, and our biggest supporter. Please help us save her from this genocide.
Belal Father (60 years old) - "My father is a very simple man who has spent his entire life caring for us until we became educated individuals he's proud of. It pains me to see him sick and unable to access basic healthcare. I can't bear to see his broken heart and his inability to save us and continue our educational and professional journey.
Arwa (Belal sister, 20 years old) - "She studies to become a designer. She used to dream of being a creative designer, but now her only dream is to lay eyes on our family home, of which we know nothing.
Baraa (Belal and Malak brother, 17 years old) - "This year was pivotal in his life as he was in his senior year and aspiring to become an engineer. He started studying three months before the school year began to ensure he gets the desired result to enter engineering, but all his books went in our destroyed home. Now he dreams of leaving Gaza to pursue his educational journey."
Hassan (13 years old) - "Sad for leaving his education, but I'm proud of him for being one of our pillars and supporters in this war. He has indeed matured; how could he not with witnessing six wars since his birth. But this war is the most destructive, and I hope he can continue his education and become a successful doctor.
Family address before displacement: Gaza - Al-Nasr

Belal message to the world: "These are my family members whom I'm responsible for. All I wish for is to be able to save them from this graveyard of dreams."
Malak message to the world: "I wish to live like any child in the world, or die peacefully with my family, beside them and with a complete body, without my limbs scattered
