Please help with funeral costs for Sweet Pearl
Donation protected
On Thursday August 18th Sarah tested positive for Covid and immediately quarantined. Already having an extremely high-risk pregnancy, the threat of something else happening was deeply concerning. A weekend of fevers and other concerning symptoms led her to the doctor’s office Monday. Sarah was immediately admitted due to loss of amniotic fluid and fluid in her own body. Tuesday August 23rd Sarah was rushed to the OR for an emergency cesarian section. Pearl was born and swiftly carried to the NICU with an entire team along side her. We give praise to God that Pearl is holding steady on the ventilator, and she has the care of excellent doctors and nurses around the clock. The gratitude for the staff is inexpressible in words alone.
The emotional and mental trauma of this event is a yoke Sarah and Danny will not have to carry alone. In the past few days, so many astonishing people have reached out and offered prayer, food and other services to the family. Each one of you who have stretched out your hand to the family is a blessing.
It is my prayer that the financial burden of this event will not be something that Sarah and Danny will have to withstand alone either. The staggering cost of ultrasounds, tests, scans and specialized equipment will be dreadful. The cost of gas to get back and forth to appointments for months is overwhelming. The financial help you provide will allow the family to focus on one another as they navigate through this complex time. It will alleviate the weight of this event and help to keep the family stable so they can center their attention on strengthening one another. Practically, the money will go directly to the medical bills and transportation expenses that will rapidly begin to pile up. We know that the economy has shifted, and inflation has caused most of us to change how we manage and budget. Your donation will not go without reward. If you have the financial means, please consider donating. It takes a village to raise a child but to raise a micro-preemie it takes an entire metropolis.
If you know this family, you know their heart. They have dedicated their lives to raising children who love God and who love others. Sarah has spent years pouring into the lives of others and this community has reaped the rewards of her hard work through many recovery programs she helped to start. She has fought hard battles and won. This one will be no different.
Let us all help to lift this family up in prayer and as the family settles into their new routine, I ask you to please consider making a financial donation. What an astounding blessing it would be for Sarah and Danny to have the financial support of their family, friends and community during this traumatic time in their lives. God is a miracle-working Savior. We believe that He will continue to work in all of this and there will be a day when Pearl comes home to be welcomed by a family who adores and loves her so much!
I will continue to update the page as news comes in regarding Pearl’s development so please check in often! I ask that you would please share, share, share this page so as many willing people who are able to help will see it and joyfully give to this family! Thank you and God bless you!
