Please Help Tristan & Katherine Get A New Place

Hey Everyone! Early this morning (8/4/2023) my son Tristan & his fiancee Katherine woke up to find the apartment directly across from theirs engulfed in flames. They ran out without anything but the clothes they were wearing. The fire quickly spread to their apartment and ruined the top floor of their apartment building - they have lost everything. We were able to get into the apartment a few hours later and did find his wallet and her purse, their phones and car keys (thank goodness). They have 2 cats Marble and Amelia. Marble jumped off the balcony of the burning apartment and while traumatized is doing ok. Unfortunately, Amelia did not make it out of the apartment.

Tristan and Katherine are GREAT kids. They are hard-working and responsible. Katherine is a recent SNHU graduate and works for BCBS in Wichita Falls. Tristan is graduating from Midwestern State University this month and works at Party City as an Assistant Manager.

They are also getting married at the end of the month. They did have several items for the wedding in the apartment that will need to be replaced due to water damage and smoke damage. Thankfully her wedding dress is safe and sound here at our home.

We are not looking for much, just some assistance with getting them a security deposit and the first month's rent at a new place. Any additional funds will be used for them to replace clothes and other items that were destroyed.
