Please Help Troy and Jenny Van Huesen- Medical
Please help support Troy and Jenny Van Heusen through this trying time:
Jenny's words pulled from Facebook on 8/28/21, "I am asking for prayers for my wonderful husband, Troy. He is in the ICU at Duke with an undiagnosed breathing issue. He has been on a ventilator and was in really bad shape when we were able to transport him from Camden to Duke. He does NOT have COVID-19, which we thought may have been the case. He is awake and coherent and able to answer questions. We are facing an unknown future. As many of you know he is a double lung transplant recipient and we do not know how this will effect his lungs. He needs all of your prayers and support as we go through these trying times. He is a fighter and as hard headed as they come and will not give in. If anyone can beat this it is him."
Troy and Jenny have been a second family to me. They are both outstanding horsemen and women. Troy has been shoeing horses for me since my junior years at Seabrook Equestrian Center. When I moved to USC for school, Jenny welcomed me with open arms to ride her horses. She eventually became my trainer and we had a blast riding and showing together. She helped me with my late mare, Bertha. I will never forget Troy coming to Tryon Hospital to help me with the passing of Bertha, him and Jenny both have done so much for me and I care for them both.
I know they are struggling with the scariness of the unknown as well as the financial aspect of not working and being in the hospital. Please please please help them out, I hold them very close to my heart. Thank you!
