Please help Troy Bartley

I am Troy Bartley's long time girlfriend. Troy was hospitalized and put on a ventilator on Monday, September 20th. He was diagnosed with acute liver failure and will need a liver transplant. He is still sedated and on the ventilator, but we're hopeful he will wake up and be extubated this week. Due to hospital protocols, he has not been allowed any visitors which is agonizing for his family and friends.

 

Troy has a very long road to recovery ahead of him and will not be able to work for several months and the expenses are already stacking up. He had just started a new job the day he was hospitalized so he doesn't have any employer benefits such as paid leave.

 

We hate to ask for help but we know he will need all of the support he can get over the next several months. Our family appreciates your support and prayers.

Update 9/28:  Troy woke yesterday afternoon & was extubated.  He knows his name and is following short commands.  He is possibly being moved to Progressive ICU today.
