Please Help Trudy and Her Girls

I am organising this fundraiser on behalf of my beautiful cousin who has tragically lost her husband, the father of her two little girls.

Paul unexpectedly lost his life on Christmas Day. He was a husband and dad, but also a much loved friend who touched the lives of so many. Paul’s death is an absolute shock and tragedy.

Trudy’s life has been turned upside down in an instant and she is now faced with raising her two beautiful girls as a single mother.

Sadly, Trudy is also grieving her mother’s recent death, after losing her just over 4 weeks ago to cancer. She also lost her father 12 months ago, also to cancer.

We are raising money for Trudy and the girls to ease some of the financial burden she has been left with. Your donation will help with the costs of day to day and everyday living so that Trudy doesn’t have to return to work immediately, and can be home with Alannah and Adele focusing on taking the time they are all going to need to be together to heal and recover.

The funds raised will also go towards counselling for both Trudy and the girls, to help guide and support them as they navigate their emotions, grief, and healing.

It is in times of tragedy and loss people come together to help one another and support those we care about. We are truly grateful for any support you may be able to provide for these beautiful girls.

I know many of you have reached out to Trudy with condolences and offers of support. I know Trudy is very appreciative of each and every one of the messages and calls she has received.
