Please help Tulsa Rae with her medical Bills
We want to give everyone who has prayed and donated for Tulsa Rae a HUGE thank you. We have surpassed the original goal we set for Tulsa Rae’s medical bills! However, a lot of this fundraiser is going to be used for her celebration of life on Monday. My husband and I decided to start this fundraiser in an attempt to help ease any other burdens we could from the parents of Tulsa Rae - Josh and Haley Stander. Without knowing the outcome of Tulsa’s condition, we had no idea what to set for our fundraising goal. We have since learned that one night in the ICU can cost up to $10k dollars. With that being said, we will be leaving the GoFundMe page up for anyone who truly feels the need to donate during this long journey ahead for our family. The love, support, and kindness from others has been overwhelming. Josh and Haley are deeply moved. Pease know that every kind word, prayer and donation has touched them in a way they will never forget.Keep sending prayers for them as each day without Tulsa is more unbearable then the last. It is with a heavy heart to say that Our Tulsa Rae put up a strong fight, but she is now in the arms of Jesus. Heaven gained a beautiful Angel. We are heartbroken and leaning on God and each other during this time. Family and friends, I need your help. A horrible accident has happened to my youngest niece Tulsa Rae Stander. She is currently fighting for her life in the ICU at TC Thompson Children’s Hospital Chattanooga, TN. February 14, 2022 Tulsa, who is 1 years old, had a drowning accident on the family farm. Her condition is critical. She has brain swelling, and lung damage. The doctors have her in a medically induced coma. She is currently not able to breathe on her own. After arriving at the hospital and tests were administered, we discovered she also has Covid. Tulsa had no sign of being sick prior to the accident and is most likely a-symptomatic to the virus. Due to her being COVID positive they were not able to give the parents a room near the hospital, complicating things even further in this critical, time-sensitive crisis. The family has been in the process of moving and was packing up the last few things in the home when this tragedy occurred. They are currently building a new home, and have been staying with family. The Ronald McDonald house originally set up a room for them but have since denied them the room due to the positive COVID test. Our family is devastated that this has happened to baby Tulsa. If you could find it in your hearts to help my family in any way it would be greatly appreciated. The burden of medical bills only put more on this family’s shoulders.
