Theresa Kern is a Wonderful and Caring 35 yr old Wife and Mother

(Husband, Jason, and Children, Jaxon 14, Melanie 9, and Madison 5)

At the beginning of the year, Theresa discovered a lump and sought medical attention. After several tests and biopsies, Theresa was diagnosed with Breast & Lymph Node Cancer in April. This news is scary and devastating to her and the entire family. She was immediately put on aggressive, chemotherapy treatment, utilizing the strongest possible chemo doxorubicin. In addition, her blood count was so low, that required daily hospital trips consisting of iron infusions and 12B shots. Due to the aggressive treatment regimen, her weakening immune system, cancer and her exhaustion she was forced to stop working. Her loving husband Jason also is taking time off when necessary for her medical appointments and care.

This is a very difficult time, it's heartbreaking to see this continuous struggle of a family member we're so close to and love so much.

Theresa is a very loving and kind person who always put the needs of others, family and friends, first before herself. Now it's time for us to help her. The next 2 years consisting of 5 to 6 months of chemo, surgery, and 5 months of radiation is, and will continue to be a very hard path.
