We have lost an angel. Memorial for Ethel
Dearest Family and Friends,
I really don't know where to start, other than saying I am heartbroken, shocked, and devastated.
Our dear Ethel, so young and beautiful was my (our) friend, my ( our) family, and as close to a soul sister as you could possibly get.
A couple of years ago I was struggling to find just the right support for our business and with prayer after prayer... out of the blue, came Ethel in a random 6 degrees of separation What's Ap messaging journey. This was not too long after my darling mother Claire left us and I was sure she sent her my way.
Ethel and I talked a lot about everything. Ethel was extraordinarily sensitive and intuitive. We shared so many things in common, even though we were from very different cultures and she was located far far away.
Ethel and my close-knit team at Best Natural Smile worked together, although remotely over the last two years. She was the brightest star in our universe.
She was always there to help our cause and work until the wee hours of the morning if needed. She never uttered a single word in the time I knew her that was anything but positive and supportive of my cause. She was a rock for me.
Ethel, was always there to give her all every single day to our team and of course our patients. She was dedicated to supporting me, in a way that is irreplaceable.
Ethel was truly one of kind.
Sadly, in an awful turn of fate, our Ethel who was seven months pregnant with twin boys ( 7 months) along with her husband contracted the ugly virus Covid and it landed them both in the hospital about 2 weeks ago.
She kept her spirits up each and every day and told me often over the last couple of weeks while hospitalized that she was "fighting". Thankfully, her husband was by her side this entire time.
The last words she wrote to me, as she often would ask me for advice ...were "Hilarie, do you have any tips on how I can breathe properly... "
Ethel was unable to beat this deadly virus and she and her two unborn sons passed away just hours ago. The pain of this loss is so deep and so wide.
I have never in my life created a "Go Fund Me", but Gregg and I are sure that the family is in need of support as there are three of them left behind, in this unexpected and tragic loss.
Ethel was a beautiful wife who worshiped her husband, a loving daughter who was dedicated to her parents, and an incredible mother who loved her two young beautiful girls beyond infinity. Ethel was our superstar.
If you feel so inclined, please help me to help this family. I will be sure that every cent gets to them.
Thank you.
My heart is with you Ethel for all time. Your spirit will live on in all of those who you have touched.
I love you, we love you forever and always.
Our deepest sympathy to the entire Vida and Santos family.
We will pray for you all, with every bit of our beings.
Hilarie, Craig, Angel, Lilly, Vicky, Christina, Loan, Trini, and Lindsey.
