Please help us get Lyn and Stuart Home
Donation protected
Hi, we truly appreciate you taking the time to read this story.
Unfortunately on June 5th, my partners parents, Lyn and Stuart were in a devastating car accident. In addition to the extensive and costly rehab/physio they will require, in order for Lyn and Stuart to return to their beloved Waterloo, there will need to be some alterations made to their home. Most notably, ramps, rails and an accessible bathroom. While we have lots of hands ready to help, as a family, we are asking for your help to get the materials we need.
Lyn and Stuart are two of the most loving and generous people I’ve ever met. They welcome anyone with open arms and an open heart and would help anyone in need. They have raised 5 of their own children and throughout the years have been second parents to dozens more.
Following the crash, Stuart spent 5 days in the ICU, with 4 of those days on a ventilator. His main injuries were a crushed chest, (one lung collapsed and the other perforated), bruised brain and a shattered shoulder. Lyn has suffered with numerous broken bones including a shattered pelvis and spinal fractures. While their progress has been phenomenal, there is still a long way to go.
Thank you for reading our story and thank you for any donation you are able to make.
