Please Help Us - Help Jordan & Luna

Donation protected
Today I hope to pull at some heart strings and help one of our own with her dog. If you’ve walked in the doors of Pound Town, Inc. you’ve been greeted by the very bubbly Jordan our General Manager. If you’ve met her, you know that any moment spent with her is an absolute pleasure and she is sure to put a huge smile on your face.

A little back story, Jordan has been with Pound Town, Inc. from the start and previously worked for us at our animal rescue Wags 2 Wishes next door for about 6 years. Her entire young life has been dedicated to rescuing or caring for animals.

About 6 months ago Jordan noticed lumps on her own dog Luna and promptly made a vet appointment, before long her absolute nightmare came true, Luna has Lymphoma cancer, in-operatable and her longevity was bleak unless chemo and radiation is started immediately. Even with chemo, vets projected a 6 months -2 year survival rate.

Jordan is a young woman just starting to build her life purchasing her first home w her boyfriend this past year, it seemed she was on top of the world and moving in the direction that every 25 year old hopes to go when her world was flipped upside down. The cost involved is extreme, anyone that has gone to the vet recently knows the cost for even basic care has sky rocketed. Jordan NEVER asks for help – EVER! She will struggle in silence, she will not buy groceries, she will not pay a utility bill to be able to provide for her beloved Luna. She is full of PRIDE and doesn’t want to ask for handouts. Lucky for Jordan, I am used to begging for help to save the lives of animals and I will not stand by and watch my friend, dedicated employee and lover of all animals struggle in silence for a moment longer.

Today I beg and plead for the young lady who has taken care of thousands of rescue dogs, thousands of daycare and boarding dogs and has probably babysat or house sitted for her friends dogs. I beg that we are able to ease this burden a little for her financially so that she can provide the needed care to keep Luna comfortable while she fights the big fight and goes beyond the projected 2 year life expectancy.

$5, $10, $20 no matter the amount it is greatly appreciated!

Thank you!
