Help Us Help Lebanon

Donation protected

On August 4th Beirut, Lebanon was hit with one of its deadliest catastrophes to date. On top of political unrest, impending famine, hyperinflation of the Lebanese Lira, and third world coronavirus implications, what is now known as the Beirut Blast has shocked us all to our core.

We will be donating to The Disaster Relief Fund, AUB Medical Center (which is treating many trauma patients), and sending aid to citizens who have been affected.  Right now, many people are in need of basic necessities such as food, water, and clothing items.

With all the information and links circulating in the aftermath of this event, we wanted to be a source where people could feel comfortable donating knowing that their donations will be sent to legitimate organizations.

As the children of immigrants, Beirut has a special place in our hearts. Being Arab Americans with many friends and family living in Beirut, we knew we had to do something more than raise awareness. We came up with this idea when we realized how much we wished we could be on the ground helping our people. As much as we want to be in Lebanon right now helping in any way we can, given the circumstances, this is the best we can do. Any amount will go a long way for the hundreds of thousands of victims, please donate and share as much as you can!
