Please Help Us Honor Our Mother, Maxine Collins' Memory

Hello Family and Friends,

My family and I are in need of help to cover the costs of giving my mother, Maxine Collins a proper Homegoing Service. I can't even believe she is gone and we are even having to plan my mother's funeral right now, it just feels unreal to me right now. We were blessed to have her here on earth for 78 years, but still seems too soon for her to go. She did had a few medical issues but never did I see this coming because she was always so full of life, sass and laughter.

My mother would probably honestly be upset at me for doing this if she was alive today because she always preached to me about telling the world (social media) my business...lol! But she also told us several times closed mouths don't get fed. Unfortunately, she did not have a active life insurance policy at her passing, so we are here now. She did retire with Teacher's Retirement System (TRS) but with their process to pay out any beneficiaries is a process that takes 45 days at minimum. Mother I am truly sorry I have to publicly put anyone in our very personal family business like this but you also taught us that closed mouths don't get fed.

I genuinely ask that if anyone is able to contribute anything to help us reach our goal to pay off this $5700 balance we owe Veteran's Funeral Services. Funds are need to be paid in full by Monday 1/27/25 to have her funeral services on Thursday 1/30/25. You can either donate here or I can provide information to make payment directly to the Funeral Home if you prefer. Any gift of any amount is greatly appreciated and we thank you with all our heart for caring for our mother and helping us Celebrate her Life properly as she would have wanted.
