Please Help Us Keep Our Car

Hi, we're the Evans family and unfortunately we find ourselves in desperate need right now. As you can see we are a family of four, Holly and Leo with our sons Connor and Colin. About seven years ago Leo began getting very sick and after many visits to the ER, was diagnosed with a deficiency that eventually destroys organs over time. He had a liver transplant in 2020 and a kidney transplant in 2021. It was a long, slow process but eventually he began to regain his health. That is until February of 2023.
Symptoms too hard to ignore sent him back to specialists who determined that the life saving anti rejection meds he takes had followed an ugly path and given him Burkitt's Lymphoma, a rare and highly aggressive form of cancer. By the grace of God and much support from family and friends he went through 6 rounds of chemo, from March to August of this year. He is now in remission. It's a slow and painful process but he is beginning to regain some strength and hopes to go back to work in the coming year.
In between all this mess we went through all our savings to pay for the countless visits between Baltimore MD where his specialists for both the transplants and the cancer are and our local hospital in Cumberland MD. Our old car was seized for non payment because we could no longer keep it afloat with all the bills coming in. However, in November of 2022 we took over payments on a family member's car, because at the time things were starting to get better for us. We never expected for Leo to get hit with the cancer this year.
Getting rid of everything not absolutely necessary in our lives has helped us keep the new to us car going for most of this year but a bad hiccup in Leo's disability set us back two payments on the car a couple months ago. Our rent increasing another $75 a month didn't help either. We are just barely keeping the car from being repossessed at this point. We cannot refinance it, or anything else that would help us. Holly is currently unable to get a job due to her own health issues so the only income we have is Leo's disability.
So please, if you are able to help us even with a few dollars towards keeping this car for a while longer we'd greatly appreciate it. Being able to get Leo back and forth for his many appointments as well as Holly's would ease the stress just a little bit so we can get back to normal. Every dollar you give will go to the car payment, which is over $300 a month.
If you can't offer a few dollars then please just send a prayer and we will do the same in kind. Thank you!!
