Please Help Us Lay Oliver Lucia to Rest

Hi everyone, this is Nickie aka Trick Nick (Papa nick named us all) aka Jessica.

I'm creating this Go Fund me by request of the family.

With heavy hearts, we share the sad news of the passing of our beloved grandfather, Oliver Lucia. A dedicated and courageous war veteran, he served our country with honor and distinction.

My Papa was such a gentleman. He loved to dress to impress in his finest button up shirts, blue jeans, belt buckles, cowboy hats, and of course his boots. He was a hard working man that raised 6 children and countless grandchildren/great grandchildren. He was there for any of us at the drop of a call; no matter the situation. I vividly recall him coming to save me, at a very odd hour of the night, wearing his finest and smelling of his Old Spice. His final wishes are to be laid to rest next to his late wife, my grandmother, who left us 23 years ago. It would mean the world to make sure that wish is granted.

His legacy as a selfless and loving family man that fought for our country will forever be cherished. Unfortunately, the unexpected costs associated with his funeral have placed an immense financial burden on our family.

We are reaching out to our community and loved ones for support to help us honor Oliver Lucia with a fitting memorial service. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in allowing us to celebrate his life properly.
