Please help us "Normalize The Conversation of Suicide"

Hi my name is Kurt Szalonek we are fundraising for Drifting4Life. We are raising funds to help fund the transportation, tires and entry fee's for Lt Dan and Roudy 19 to get to the Holley LS Fest West in Las Vegas, Aril 26th-28th.

To provide you with some transparency, here's a breakdown of the costs associated with the event:

• Tires: We're bringing four sets, totaling $1,190.00 including mounting. We anticipate going through at least three sets during the event.

• Travel Expenses: This includes fuel costs for our tow rig and motorhome, totaling approximately $641.00.

• Event Entry Fees: $340.00

• Per Diem for Car Crew/Drivers: $480.00

These figures don't even cover the full extent of expenses such as maintenance, insurance, and potential damages to the cars. As you can see, every penny is accounted for, and your support is invaluable.

Drifting4Life (D4L) is a nonprofit organization passionately dedicated to raising awareness about the tragic impact of suicide, with a specific focus on supporting military personnel and all youth. Our mission is to shatter the silence surrounding suicide, fostering understanding, and offering tangible support to those affected. Together, we navigate the road toward healing and resilience. We strive to encourage open conversations around suicide and mental health. In our engagement efforts, we collaborate with the racing community, military organizations, and youth groups on a symbolic expedition. Using the military burnout car (Lt Dan) and the youth drift car (Roudy19), the smoking tires symbolizing the dispersal of negative emotions through dialogue, drifting represents the numerous instances when we doubt our ability to navigate life's challenging turns, and the tire tracks serve as a testimony to the enduring imprints of the scars left by suicide. Driven by compassion, the goal for D4L extends a helping hand to families directly affected by suicide through grants covering diverse needs such as counseling, burial expenses, transportation, temporary financial support, family travel, lodging, scene clean-up services for those who have lost a loved one to suicide. We also provide financial backing for additional mental health organizations and community partners who align with our mission.
