Please help us REOPEN after the fire

Hi, Pretzeldelphians:
It's Erika from Center City Pretzel at 816 Washington Ave. in South Philly. Many and most of you know we suffered an electrical fire back on September 28 and its been a very VERY slow go to reopen. The insurance company has been ok to work with but the claim process is costly and won't cover all that needs to be done to get us to reopen. If I hear "supply chain issue" one more time, I may lose it. Electrical supplies have to be made to order for our specific machinery needs and the manufacturer doesn't have the parts to do it. We paid for them and cannot be told when we can expect them. If I need to reorder from another place I will, but insurance will not cover it and what we did pay out is, of course, non-refundable even tho they haven't begun working on it. Your eyes should be rolling now and your head should be hurting if you've made it this far. I am a strong South Philly girl and I am my father's daughter (he passed last September) but this is getting to be too much even for me. The sooner we can get the supplies needed and get the electrical covered, the faster we get back up and get our employees back to work and open to all of you. Never thought we'd be here, but here is where we are. 42 years of opening that garage door to all of you and seeing your faces and so many of you have become family to us. The thought of never doing what we do destroys my heart and the legacy of my father. Any help is appreciated beyond what I can express to you esp. coming off the most expensive time of the year. We are praying for a successful reopening in 2023 but we need your help to make that a reality. Thank you and God bless every one of you. Peace, Love, Pretzel.
