Please help us support Charlie, Paige & Sheldon
Donation protected
Just last week, our sweet Charlie was taken to the doctors due to having pain in his side when he was touched and his tummy was really hard.
The doctor sent Charlie straight to emergency where he underwent tests and was transferred to the Royal Children’s Hospital where Charlie has since been diagnosed with a large cancerous Wilm’s tumour.
Charlie had always had a cute little pot belly, a lot of other toddlers have them and there was no signs to indicate that he was anything but a healthy, happy 1 year old little boy prior.
He now faces a long road of treatments ahead which includes chemotherapy and a complex surgery to remove one of his kidneys and the large tumour.
Paige and Sheldon’s life has been flipped upside down in just a matter of days. Sheldon works for himself and has no annual leave or sick leave, and Paige just started a new career with minimal leave accrued.
We want so badly to make this all go away - but we know we can’t, and the only thing we can do right now is support them in any way we possibly can.
If you are in the financial position to donate ANY amount so we can relieve the financial stress of household bills, the mortgage and any costs associated with Charlie’s medical care we would be forever grateful. You would be giving Paige, Sheldon and Charlie some much treasured time together as a family, and supporting Charlie through his tough battle ahead.
If you are not in the position to donate, please share the GoFundMe link.
This GoFundMe page has been organised by Paige and Sheldon’s sister in law, Jasmine.
All proceeds will be given to Paige, Sheldon and Charlie directly and they will use them to support Charlie.
We kindly ask that you respect their privacy and do not contact them directly. Please allow them time to grieve and spend some time with Charlie, while they process this.
If you have any questions please feel free to direct them to Jasmine Guy.
