Please help us to stay together.

We're John and Kyrsty. We have been together for almost a decade, engaged for most of it, and until 2020 we spent our relationship as long distance. We were finally able to come together, to move in with each other, exactly two weeks before the Covid-19 Epidemic began. I then lost my job at the time due to my high risk. It was not until 2022 that I was able to find another job, and while Kyrstynna was able to find a position by 2021, neither of us have been able to recover to the point we were before the epidemic.
In late 2022, our roommate and close friend abruptly kicked us out with little warning after I'd shared a home with him for five years, and since then between a new car, a new apartment, various emergencies and the unrelenting march of inflation and rising costs, the life savings, her life savings, that we've used to keep ourselves just barely above water is almost gone. I've also had multiple rising health issues, from long term damage due to a car accident, to a diabetes diagnosis and other ongoing health issues. If things do not change drastically and soon, we will lose our apartment, and likely each other, since none of the few possible options we have for housing can, or will, accept us both. We are also likely to now the two other most important things in our life, our furbabies, Bobbi, our bobtailed chimera, and Rupee, our silver little terror. They are as dear to us as we are to each other.
We only ask for help, to help us rebuild and find the time we need to make things better. We're not asking for a handout, we are pleading for help because we haven't been able to find an alternative. We're applying for new jobs every day, and we both try and plead and work for more hours at our current job in the meantime, to no avail.
Please help. We did what we were supposed to do, worked, saved, went to college and did well, graduated, each of us with our own bachelor's degree, which has never helped either of us to find any kind of employment. We've kept working despite that, pushing and struggling and we've watched oblivion come closer each day. We just want to be together, Kyrstynna, Bobbi, Rupee and me, with enough stability to know we're okay.
Thank you for your time and attention, Godspeed.
