Please help us to support my son's transition

My son Max is nearly and socially transitioned over 2 years ago. He is on the waiting list to see the support service at the Gender Identity Support Service, but until we reach the top of the extremely long waiting list he has zero direct support with serious gender dysphoria, which is causing mental health issues. When we eventually do get to the top of that list the gender clinic will require him to undergo a further 12 months of delay before any treatment can start, and we are aware that they frequently cite mental health problems as a reason to delay, which will exacerbate Max's issues. I want to get him the support and help he needs now, not a year or more in the future.
We have explored the possibility of private treatment, and found that £500 would help us get Max the initial appointment, all the necessary tests and assessment, and the first 6 months of treatment. I will keep him on the NHS list to access it when we can too. i am asking friends, families and allies to help us take this next step in Max's journey.
Thank you
