Please help us...We are trying our best!!

Hi, my name is Khahil Bankston and I'm appealing to the community on behalf of me and my family of 7 requesting donations and help to rebuild our home. We lost everything February 24, 2023 to a house fire. I mean everything! Nothing remained but what we had on and what was in our pockets at that moment. Its extremely hard to be superman and superwoman for your 5 kids when your trying to recover from a traumatic loss like this. Me and my wife have been rebuilding the home with what the scraps that we have been given. We were ripped off by a contractor who took our money and materials. We were left with scraps. We fought to have the city remove our home off the demolition list because this is home and we're currently sleeping here until we're able to get into something temporary with hope of having our home restored. We believe in God and know that we will overcome this test. We really need help. Like really need help!!

My wife was fired from Ikea due to fire and I was recently terminated.
