Please help Valerie Rabelo and Baby Tanner

UPDATE 9/3/2021  from Valerie's mom, Dalia:  Valerie Rabelo, I love you and it's literally killing me not being by your side. You made it through day one on the ventilator. Doctors are just letting you rest for a bit because you exhausted your body and didn't sleep for days and all the struggling to just breathe. So you get some rest and hopefully soon your lungs will be able to pump air through them. Know that I love you and most of the world is praying for you and your baby. You will still have your happily-ever-after, you, Tanner, and Tanner the 3rd. Please be OK. I hope you heard me by your bedside. I told you I was just outside and wasn't leaving until they let me in. I sat with you and held your hand and kissed it, they only gave me 15 min with you, it wasn't enough. Trust me I'm be fighting to get back in there with you I love you, dearly baby girl.



9/2/2021  Hello, my name is Barb Dukeman, and Valerie is my brother Del's granddaughter. This family desperately needs your help.

Valerie was 8 months pregnant when she was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension and pre-eclampsia last month. While she was at the hospital, she was further diagnosed with Covid which developed into pneumonia. On August 29, the doctors delivered Baby Tanner via caesarean 2 1/2 weeks early, and Valerie is currently on a ventilator. Baby Tanner has pulmonary hypertension and doctors are trying to regulate his breathing. Val and Tanner are at two different hospitals in Pinellas County while Val's family lives one county over in Pasco.

The money will be used to help Valerie's family with rent, electric, household bills and travel expenses. When Baby Tanner comes home, Tanner Sr. will be staying home with the newborn until Valerie comes home. The distance between their home and the baby's hospital is 25 miles, while Valerie's mom Dalia remains by her daughter's side as much as possible.
