Please Help Victims of Domestic Abuse Get a Fresh Start

Dear friends,

Our community is fundraising on behalf of our dear friend and neighbor, someone you know if you are getting this, whom we will call Anna. Those who know the situation say the domestic abuse started slowly. After years of emotional trauma, it has escalated into physical violence against her and her two young children. Sadly, the abuser is also the father of her children. Recently, bones have been broken and faces bruised (kids included), and there is a real danger of escalation. Their abuser is highly intelligent, manipulative, and has been diagnosed with disorders underscoring his narcissism and capacity for violence.

Anna and the kids have just bravely escaped their toxic household and desperately need our help in starting a new chapter of life.

As he has controlled their finances and she was forced to leave all their belongings behind, Anna was left with zero short-term resources. So far, the local agencies have failed to come to their rescue… which is where we all come in!

Please help our beloved sister, daughter, friend, and hard-working mother of two permanently escape her aggressor and start over in a safe space free of violence. Any amount is deeply appreciated - it all adds up! In addition to her lawyer’s retainer, we want to collect enough to cover first + last month’s rent, along with groceries, and an inexpensive car while Anna finds a job and can start providing for her family.
