Please help with Alfredo's ER surgery bills

My name is Mike; I'm creating this page for my kitten Alfredo. He is not 1 yet, but already had to go through a traumatic surgery. I am sorry to ask for help when there are so many more pressing issues in the world, but we very much need the help to keep our world intact.

 

Alfredo suddenly had severe acute kidney failure, which almost resulted in him dying on Monday night. He was extremely dehydrated and had foreign objects lodged along his digestive tract. He was stabilized on Tuesday morning, but immediately had to go into emergency surgery to remove the foreign objects from his body, otherwise it would've continued to shut his body down.

 

We had to make the immediate decision to get Alfredo into surgery so that he had a chance to survive. The vets and medical staff have done a great job, and if his bloodwork returns to a stable level, we’re hoping he’ll be able to return home this Friday. Our vet bills are estimated at over $8,000 so far and we would greatly appreciate any financial assistance possible

 

Last July, we took in five stray foster kittens with the intention of finding adoptive homes for all. After a series of unsuccessful adoption attempts, we decided to keep four of the remaining kittens and have embraced the chaos ever since. All donations will exclusively go towards Alfredo’s surgery fees. We love our big animal family and sincerely appreciate everyone’s support in keeping our Alfredo healthy.
