Please help with BOE legal fees

Tuxedo Board of Education member, Dorothy Ziegelbauer has had to hire an attorney to defend herself against unfair charges. A group within the Tuxedo School Board is actively trying to remove Dorothy from her seat on the Board. She has had no choice but to clear her name and protect her family. Consequently, she has incurred over $50,000 in legal expenses.

Dorothy has repeatedly requested that all hearings be transparent and in front of the public. That has been denied by a majority vote from Board members. Dorothy is a wonderful lady, grandmother, mother, and Tuxedo volunteer. She and her family do not deserve this expense and assault on her good character.

Dorothy has dedicated the last 5.5 years as a public servant on this Board. Before joining the Board, she was the President of the PTO. She has always supported and served this district, consistently volunteering her time to serve on multiple committees and represent the Board at school events. The payback for such service has been an attack on her family, and the most disturbing part, her child.

This is an unnecessary and egregious assault on a public servant. Will you consider helping? Do you support someone fighting for what's right vs. what's wrong? This whole situation has put a great strain on her family emotionally, maybe, perhaps, we can help to ease the financial burden. Please consider helping lesson the burden.
