Please Help with Freddie's Emergency Surgery

I am reaching out with a heavy heart to share the urgent and unexpected situation my mom, Jennifer Rice, and her sweet cat, Freddie, are facing. Freddie has fallen seriously ill and requires emergency surgery tonight. The estimated cost of the surgery is $6,600.

Freddie's health took a sudden turn on Friday night when he displayed lethargy and vomiting. Despite initial treatment with antibiotics, his condition worsened, leading to a second visit to the ER on Sunday morning. Through ultrasound and x-rays, veterinarians discovered an obstruction in Freddie's stomach, causing distressing distension in his stomach and colon.

To give Freddie the best chance at recovery, an exploratory surgery is scheduled for tonight to locate and remove the blockage. Freddie is a beloved member of our family and means the world to us. He’s only four years old and we want to enjoy many more years with him.
