Please Help with Misha's Attack Recovery

Donation protected
Hello, my name is David Robertson, and I am seeking your support for Misha, a Greyhound who needs multiple surgeries after a vicious dog attack.

Misha was adopted from a rescue organization a few weeks ago and was enjoying his new life with his owner and two other Greyhounds. On August 6, while they were on a leash in a public park, a large dog that was not on a leash came out of nowhere and bit Misha's neck. It took four people to pull the dog off Misha and hold it back.

Misha was taken to Central Animal Hospital with severe injuries to his throat and chest. He underwent emergency surgery that night and will need more procedures to heal properly.

Misha is a young and gentle Greyhound who was given up by his previous family in July. He had already gone through neuter surgery and dental work before finding his forever home.

Misha deserves a chance to recover from this traumatic incident and enjoy his life. Please consider donating to help with his medical expenses. Any amount will make a difference.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

Misha's owner is an artist and is offering to do pet portrait commissions to help with vet costs. She works in pastel and acrylic portraits of pets. Any funds raised this way will also go towards the vet bills. You can find Tatiana on the Sighthounds of Vancouver Island BC Facebook page .
