Please Help With Rodney Sheppard’s Memorial Cost

I’m Cye Harold Sheppard; my sister GailElinor Alston and I, along with his 4 sons, Jomar, Jordon, Joshua and Langston lost our brother and father, Rodney Sheppard. He died on January 9, 2024 he was 71 yrs old. Rodney was very independent, however, he also was having some heath challenges during 2023.

A friend was very concerned about his well-being, so after many attempts to contact him, they did a wellness check on Rodney and he was found by the police on the morning of January 9th.

Since his neighbors, on the scene didn’t know my phone number, they were diligent in searching for me. Eventually, I was contacted through a friend who knew one of my fraternity brothers Howard Porky James who informed me about the devastating news of Rodney’s death on the evening of January 19, 2024.

Since I’m not good with computers but have received many calls from family, friends and frat asking how they can help and be a support during this time, I’m taking the suggestion to start this GoFundMe. Marlene is helping me put this together; she’s been invaluable helping the family during this stressful time.

I know your contribution will touch the hearts of his sons, Jomar Sheppard, Jordon Lambert, Joshua Lambert and Langston Hughes Sheppard. This will help with some of the cost of providing a Memorial ceremony to honor their father Rodney Sheppard.

The contributions will help defer the cost of his children’s travel and other unexpected costs. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers we really appreciate you all.
