Please help with Scruff’s Vet bill

Please meet Scruff. He is a cat that lives wild in our neighbourhood. He visits us everyday, sitting at the door, hoping to be fed. Scruff showed up at the door a few weeks ago with an injured eye. We organised a trap (thank you Cats Protection) and took him to the Vets. In order to save his life it was deemed that the eye needed to be removed. The operation was successful. He is making a nice recovery and has a lovely set-up in the garage where he receives food, water, pain medication and antibiotics. All of this has come at a price with the Vet bill coming in at 1,000.00. We have paid 500.00 out of our savings and we are struggling to pay the remainder. We are calling on the generosity of fellow animal lovers to help wherever possible.
