Please HELP with Yesterday’s Storm Damage!!!
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Heather, I run Riverwood Farm & Rescue LLC. I have rescued over 200 animals in the last 4 years. Our feed bill, and hay bill has DOUBLED in the last few years, and this is the icing to the cake. Last night’s storm has brought down a TON of trees on my fences that were separating my males and females. And I just feel COMPLETELY DEFEATED at this point. They are all together and now doing their business. THIS IS THE LAST THING I WANT BEING A RESCUE!!! I don’t do this unless I REALLY NEED HELP. But I need it now more than ever!!! Not only are they mating, but are in danger of escaping!!! If you can donate ANYTHING to help it would be greatly appreciated; even a share is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! PLEASE!!!
I have a Go Fund Me, but OBVIOUSLY they take their share. You can also donate to the animals via here, or contact me directly for other avenues.
Thank you in advance, and again; I wouldn’t ask if I could do it myself!!!! I usually sell stuff for fundraising!!!
The trees down need professionally cut up, we need new fence materials that need to simultaneously go up at the same time the trees come off the fence. We have had donations sent with other methods, and this is what we will have left IF the volunteers come through to help that say they can. My only fear is coordination of times with people volunteering, and it not working since it SPECIFICALLY needs simultaneously done. I’m LITERALLY just feeling defeated! $5,000 isn’t nearly enough to cover all of the damage, but at least a start to get the fences back up and in working order!
ANY & ALL ADDITIONAL donations will go towards the $1200 PLUS feed bill each month for the animals, as we rarely get donations….
