Please help Xavier become a MVP!

Hello everyone, as some of you know my son Xavier was recently asked to join the MVP Elite 8th grade football team. It is hard to describe in words the pride I have in Xavier. Not only does he have a natural ability to play the game he loves, but he is an amazing student (4.0 GPA), and one of the kindest souls I have ever known. Anyone who knows him knows I am not just saying that because I am his mom. This opportunity is not just one season. It is a 11 month rigorous training program and the team will be doing quite a bit of traveling out of state. There are UofO volunteer opportunities that myself and local family/friends can do that will contribute funds to this, but that won't be enough. The gear and training will cost $2,750 and that doesn't include travel expenses. So, with all of that being said, I need help. Some of you know that I live with chronic pain, which has led to me being self employed for the past 4 years, while also being a single mother. I will be doing as much volunteering as my body will allow. I have prided myself on rarely asking for help, and never on a public platform, but this is an incredible opportunity for Xavier. I am humbly setting my pride aside. My overall goal is to raise $5,500. Any and all help is greatly appreciated, including sharing this page! Let me know if you could volunteer. Thank you all!
