Please Help Zog Regain his Joyful Stride

Dear friends, family, and fellow animal lovers,

We come to you today with a heartfelt plea for our beloved Zog. Recently, our boy was diagnosed with hip dysplasia in both hips, leaving him in pain and struggling to move freely.

The veterinarian has recommended total hip replacement for both hips, a complex and expensive procedure. Zog will need to undergo two surgeries, with a necessary recovery period in between, followed by rehabilitation to regain the full function of his hips and, most importantly, his carefree spirit.

He is 3 years old and we are determined to give him the best chance at a pain-free and joyful life. However, the financial burden of these surgeries is overwhelming.

Currently, the first appointment is scheduled for November 30th at Iowa State University, and I'm hoping to secure the necessary funds before then to avoid any delay or cancellation. Asking for help is never easy, but Laken and I believe that Zog's age and unyielding spirit make him deserving of every possible effort to restore his well-being.

The estimated cost of Zog’s surgeries and post-operative care amounts to $12,000—a significant sum to raise.
