Pray for Danielle

I am starting this Go Fund Me for my friend Danielle who is going through some serious health issues right now. Danielle is one of those people who lights up a room when she enters it. She puts others first, is kind and makes it a point to look at the bright side of things even where there doesn’t seem to be one. She is a single mom who puts her daughter first and gives up whatever she can to be able to provide a good life for her. Karissa is Danielle’s world. Danielle just started a new job and was hit with a scary diagnosis, Follicular Cell Derived Thyroid Carcinoma. Danielle’s latest scan did reveal progression into the lymph nodes and carotid artery involvement. Since she just started this new job, it is unlikely that she will have PTO to cover her upcoming surgery at UVA and since she is the sole income for herself, her daughter, and their pets we wanted to try to ease the financial burden for them so that Danielle can focus on getting healthy. Danielles family is helping anyway they can, however this diagnosis is just the latest in a series of events that have hit Danielle and her family the past two years. COVID-19, family tragedies and her mother’s cancer diagnosis have limited her family’s ability to help in substantial ways.
