Please Support Alex Hill and Family

Hello to all who love Alex Hill, aka "Big Al"!  This is a request that is not only made with profound urgency and necessity, it is made with a very heavy heart.  As many of you know and some may not, a very dear and beautiful man is in the fight of his life with cancer that seems to rear its ugly head way too many times.  Alex has a very rare spindle cell sarcoma cancer that has spread to his bone marrow.  He is still baffling doctors so the treatment is still up in the air.  There is a good possibility that he could be traveling to receive treatment.  I will try to keep everyone updated once he knows for sure.

Big Al is one of the sweetest, funniest, kindest man you would ever meet.  Those of us that know him, know we are blessed for doing so.  Alex and his wife Gayle both work so hard to support their wonderful family.  Alex and Gayle have raised four children, Corey, Katie, Connor and Cole, who by the way is a senior this year.  They are great parents but they are by no means rich, only in love for one another.  The cost and struggle of Alex being sick for the the last four months going undiagnosed, Gayle being self employed having to take off work and now finally knowing what's ahead is going to be astronomical, not to mention the emotional distress.  Just the cost of helping them pay their medical insurance premium monthly because Alex hasn't been able to work and possibly might not ever work again.  Short and long term disability only goes so far and insurance premiums still need to be paid.  Were not  doctors and cannot fix Alex's illness, but we can pull together and do what we can.  We cannot let them go through this financial hardship alone.  They need to  focus and concentrate on getting Alex well.

I am pleading, PLEASE, PLEASE help Alex and his family with any amount you can.  Just to ease some of the financial burden.  Alex would gladly give anyone he met in need give the shirt off his "hairy" back.  We are not asking for that, but any amount would help tremendously.  If you are not able to help financially, please keep Alex, who is a husband, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, co-worker and wonderful friend in your thoughts and prayers.  This world is a better place with our "Big Al" in it and we want to keep it that way!!!
