Hurricane Helene impacted Western North Carolina and devastated Historic Biltmore Village and many other beloved places in our region. Corner Kitchen will need to be rebuilt which will take months. Chestnut is closed due to the lack of water and electricity. The water is not expected to be back for at least several weeks.

We have 115 employees that are temporarily out of work from both restaurants. Thankfully, everyone is accounted for and safe.

Many of them still lack the basic necessities: water, electricity, reliable cell service and they face food insecurity. The staff are dealing with the reality of not knowing when we will reopen.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help our staff financially while we are closed. 100% of your donations will be given to the staff.
