On Saturday the 9th of November, a very good friend of mine experienced a life changing tragedy. Daniel, who has been battling mental health issues and his twin daughters Grace and Rose ((2y7m old) lost their mother and soul mate Tia———- 33y.
18 months ago they had to make a big decision to move their new family to county Victoria to raise their beautiful children. They had to move in with Daniel's parents to help them get on their feet.
Tegan found work with the amazing Foodworks team in Mansfield. Tegan loved her job and everyone she worked with. Daniel stayed home to take care of the girls.
Unexpectedly, Tegan collapsed in Daniel's family home early Saturday morning while tending to her girls. Despite Daniel and then Ambulance Victoria's best efforts, neither was able to revive Tia. Leaving behind lots of unanswered questions as well as the loss of a mother and soulmate for life.
Tegan and Daniel were newly engaged and recently had some exciting news...they were two weeks away from sharing the exciting news that they were expecting their 3rd child They were so excited to begin the next chapter of their life together.
Tegan had an infectious personality; she was always energetic and incredibly bubbly. She made your day so much brighter after seeing her. She brought people together and was an inspiring young woman. She loved Daniel and her girls with all her heart, as those that had the honour of meeting her loved her in return.
You will be sorely missed Tegan leaving a hole in everyone’s lives.
