Please SUPPORT Gavin & his Family

On Wednesday, August 2nd, the Kamoschinski’s faced the unthinkable and witnessed their son/brother Gavin (16) in a freak accident while diving into the Okanagan Lake off a dock at Hobson Beach in Kelowna. Gavin suffered a broken neck. Fractures to his C5,6 & 7. He was taken to KGH & then flown to Vancouver General Hospital, where he has just endured a 5-hour surgery to fuse the vertebrae to stabilize the neck. They are keeping him sedated to keep his heart rate up to maximize the healing of his damaged spinal cord. At this time we don’t know the full picture of his recovery. TIME is healing. However, the road will be long and uncharted. Currently, Gavin has no movement in his hands or legs. He needs a miracle. And we are believing this for him. This incredible athlete has been putting in the time & work making leaps towards a promising Football Career supported by many high-level coaches cheering him on. Gavin is an outstanding young man who will have a long journey ahead. He’s an amazing son, brother & friend. Truly one of the toughest kids we know and will surely give his everything to overcome the challenges faced along this road. The family will have to spend an extended stay away from home and work (also local Business owners) and will need our support during this challenging time.
