It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the tragic passing of Loren Galvan at the young age of 23 years old. Her manic/compulsive health disorder caused her to make an instantaneous decision that led to an action that she quickly wished to undo. She reached out for help, but sadly it was too late. After spending over a week in intensive care, her body was faced with too many obstacles to overcome. She will be greatly missed. We created this GoFundMe account to help her grieving family navigate through the process of planning and paying for her funeral expenses, as well as easing the stress and burden of the coming numerous and exorbitant medical bills. If you can find it in your heart to give in any way, we would be very grateful. Any amount given would be much appreciated.
Although she struggled with her condition for many years, Loren was one of the sweetest, kindest, and most loving souls who liked to cook and shop in her free time. When she was a child, she attended Holy Trinity Episcopal School in Houston, Texas where she had numerous accomplishments and won many awards. She went to Atascocita High School where she graduated in 2019. After graduation, she went to work and was known as an extremely dedicated employee and never missed a day of work in the 2 years she was there--always going in on her days off, if asked. She also enjoyed working with the charity Food Not Bombs, an organization that goes downtown weekly to feed the homeless. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and pets. Loren absolutely loved animals and had a soft spot for cats. She had three cats who she loved to spend time with and also helped rescue and foster many animals in her lifetime.
